Dedicated to the memory of Pat

This site is a tribute to Pat . She is much loved and will always be remembered.

Pat was born in Hastings and lived there for most of her life, though she also lived in Stockton, Cork, London and Japan. She met her husband, Gerry, while living in Stockton, and went on to become a lovely Mum to Jackie and Paul and a doting grandmother to Charlie, George, David, Robert and Lizzie. She started her career on the GPO telephone exchange but trained as a primary school teacher at the age of 40 and loved her job at Netherfield School until she retired. Pat loved to travel in her retirement and had an active social life including the Townswomen’s Guild. Coming from Hastings, and a family with many fisherman, Pat was always an avid supporter of the RNLI. She volunteered in their shop and gave tours of the lifeboat to school groups. She would be delighted to see donations made in her memory to the charity. Pat lived a full and active life until she developed dementia a few years ago when she moved to Stratford upon Avon. She was much loved by us all and will be remembered forever.
